Patient Services Coordinator-RN - Nursing Administration
Purpose of Job: The Patient Services Coordinator - RN is responsible for supporting and assisting the CNO in the planning, organizing and directing the overall operations of Nursing Departments to include Emergency Department and Med/Surg with purpose of ensuring the highest quality of nursing care and services. Under the guidance and direction of CNO, they will initiate and maintains performance improvement activities within the departments and participates in QAPI activities. They will help ensures competency of all nursing personnel. Assist in ensuring required compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations law, standards, and protocols. Participate and assist in the coordination and review of swingbed referrals in consideration for admission. As a part of the Case Management Team, participate and assist in clinical review and monitoring of all patients admitted for care. Participate in utilization review activities and other chart auditing functions. Other duties as assigned and related to nursing care and services.
