JOB SUMMARY: To complete office related duties as well as task related to patient care which supports the therapist and psychiatrist so patients may receive necessary mental health treatment. To provide transportation to and from appointments to ensure patients receive the care they need. Assist patients in and out of the van (vehicle) as appropriate. Maintain documentation of patient transports and mileage traveled. Maintain medical records and collect confidential information necessary for admission as well as continuation in the program. Assist therapist and psychiatrist with scheduling and managing of appointments. Completion of patient billing as well as communication with billing department regarding concerns with patient accounts. Ongoing communication with various insurance companies regarding approval of services.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required; Current drivers’ license; Experience working in an office setting preferred; Experience driving a mini-van a plus; Experience transporting patients a plus.
