Job Posting Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) Part Time - Cardiopulmonary Services JOB SUMMARY: Performs all duties as assigned for the Cardiopulmonary Department to include EKGs, Holter monitors, pulmonary function testing, ABGs, etc. Occasional on-call is also required. Will coordinate care with other departments and providers. Complies with all hospital policies and procedures and directives of the medical staff. Will help foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Maintain required competencies and continuing education to include Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Life Support. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong clinical and communication skills are a must. Must feel comfortable working independently. Active Kentucky license and NBRC credentials. Must hold current certification in BLS and obtain Certification in ACLS and PALS within 6 months. Minimum 1-year experience in Respiratory Therapy. A new grad may be considered for a candidate with strong clinical skills.
