Registered Nurse - Emergency Department -Full Time Day
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assessment, nursing diagnosis (problem identification) and planning the nursing care for those patients assigned to his/her care. Responsible for assuring that nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital departmental policies, and established standards of nursing care and practice as defined by the State of Kentucky and the Board of Nursing. Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current active RN license in Kentucky, or current working permit issued by KY Board of Nursing. Graduate of accredited school of Nursing. Experience in Emergency Department/Critical Care preferred. BLS certification required upon hire. ACLS AND PALS certification required within six months of hire (Training provided by TCH).

SHIFT: 7a - 7p

Trigg County Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility located near beautiful Lake Barkley and scenic Land Between the Lakes. The hospital opened its doors to the citizens and visitors of Trigg County and the surrounding area on April 22nd, 1952. That day, Former Kentucky Governor, Lawrence Wetherby, made a statement which still very much describes Trigg County Hospital to this day: "There are larger hospitals in the world, but none more efficient or beautiful."
