Pulmonary Rehab
Pulmonary Rehab is a broad program that helps to improve the well being of people who have been diagnosed with chronic (ongoing) breathing problems or muscle-wasting disorders that may affect the muscles used for breathing. Rehabilitation can also help people who may need lung surgery, both before and after the surgery. Pulmonary Rehab does not replace medical therapy, instead, Pulmonary Rehab is used with medical therapy and may include:
Exercise Training
Nutritional Counseling
Education on your lung disease
Energy-Conservation Techniques
Breathing Strategies
Psychological Counseling

Trigg County Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility located near beautiful Lake Barkley and scenic Land Between the Lakes. The hospital opened its doors to the citizens and visitors of Trigg County and the surrounding area on April 22nd, 1952. That day, Former Kentucky Governor, Lawrence Wetherby, made a statement which still very much describes Trigg County Hospital to this day: "There are larger hospitals in the world, but none more efficient or beautiful."
