Quality/Risk Director
Job Summary: The Director of Quality Assurance & Risk Management shall be primarily responsible for the coordination of quality and performance improvement activities in the hospital and primary care. Includes a variety of tasks and duties related to patient care, infection control and risk management. The Dir. of QA/RM is responsible for assisting and supporting Department Directors in the evaluation of systems and processes to ensure the highest quality of services to patients to include development, implementation and coordination of staff training activities with special focus and training for nursing staff. Take lead in activities related to Infection Preventionist and infection control. Assist in the investigation and monitoring of incidents occurring in the hospital. Dir. of QA/RM will complete routine abstraction and submission of required quality and performance data to outside sources. The position will take lead in analyzing and utilizing data from various sources to drive quality improvement and performance activities within hospital and primary care. The position is responsible for promoting and monitoring implementation of key CMS incentive programs and activities. This listing is not all inclusive and there may be other duties assigned that are reasonable and related to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's in Nursing. Masters in Nursing a plus. 2-3 years of experience in a related area preferred. Current active RN license in Kentucky. CPR required.

Candidates should have experience and skill using computer systems & programs, electronic medical records, and great communication & leadership skills.

Trigg County Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility located near beautiful Lake Barkley and scenic Land Between the Lakes. The hospital opened its doors to the citizens and visitors of Trigg County and the surrounding area on April 22nd, 1952. That day, Former Kentucky Governor, Lawrence Wetherby, made a statement which still very much describes Trigg County Hospital to this day: "There are larger hospitals in the world, but none more efficient or beautiful."
