Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Same Day Surgery
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing various procedures. The CRNAs objective is to ensure patients and safety by closely monitoring anesthetized and sedated patients while successfully de-sensitizing patients from pain during their procedure. Maintains clinical privileges, professional certifications and licenses. Participates in hospital required competency training and continuing education. Complies with HIPPA regulations. Performing checks on equipment and accounting for proper tools and supplies prior to engaging in patient care. Communicating effectively with all staff involved with patients and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS: Kentucky license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS and PALS required upon hire.

EDUCATION: Completion of an approved nursing anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs/Schools.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience as a CRNA required.

Trigg County Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility located near beautiful Lake Barkley and scenic Land Between the Lakes. The hospital opened its doors to the citizens and visitors of Trigg County and the surrounding area on April 22nd, 1952. That day, Former Kentucky Governor, Lawrence Wetherby, made a statement which still very much describes Trigg County Hospital to this day: "There are larger hospitals in the world, but none more efficient or beautiful."
