Behavioral Health Tech - Full-Time - Behavioral Health
Responsible to drive patients to and from the hospital's Behavioral Health program AND Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab programs. Assist patients in and out of the van (vehicle) as appropriate. Maintain documentation of patient transports and mileage traveled. Participate in the overall operation of the department, facility, and campus as requested/assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining medical records and chart order. Assists the physician in weekly scheduled patient appointments as directed. Audits charts for documentation and billing compliance. May enter charges and produce billing claims with appropriate training, assisting patients with insurance coverage. Demonstrate professional work behavior by following guidelines as established in the policies and procedures manual.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Current driver's license. Experience driving mini-van a plus. Experience transporting patients a plus.

Trigg County Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility located near beautiful Lake Barkley and scenic Land Between the Lakes. The hospital opened its doors to the citizens and visitors of Trigg County and the surrounding area on April 22nd, 1952. That day, Former Kentucky Governor, Lawrence Wetherby, made a statement which still very much describes Trigg County Hospital to this day: "There are larger hospitals in the world, but none more efficient or beautiful."
