Radiologic Technologist
JOB SUMMARY: Under the medical direction of the radiologist and the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, this position requires the use of diagnostic imaging equipment to help physicians identify illnesses and injuries. The radiologic technologist may use X-Ray, C-Arm, Computed Tomography, or Mammography equipment to perform X-Rays, CT scans, Mammograms, and surgery OR examinations. The radiologic technologist will assist with taking phone calls to answer technical questions, schedule appointments and offer pre-procedure advice. He/She will monitor all radiographic supplies and submit purchasing requests to maintain proper supply levels. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure safety of patients and team members. Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order. Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor. Perform all other duties as assigned. New Hire Orientation required.

Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00 am - 7:30 pm

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology Program and possess a Kentucky State Radiation License. Must be ARRT registered. Must be CPR certified and kept current during employment as well as registries.

Experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist required. CT experience required.

Trigg County Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility located near beautiful Lake Barkley and scenic Land Between the Lakes. The hospital opened its doors to the citizens and visitors of Trigg County and the surrounding area on April 22nd, 1952. That day, Former Kentucky Governor, Lawrence Wetherby, made a statement which still very much describes Trigg County Hospital to this day: "There are larger hospitals in the world, but none more efficient or beautiful."
