Nurse Extern - Temporary Position - Med/Surg
Increase patient care management, organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate greater proficiency and clinical skills. Experience professional growth and increased self-confidence in caring for patients. Work one-one-one with an RN completing assignments, performing clinical skills, learning about medications and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Enrolled in an accredited school of nursing, with projected graduation date of December 2018 or May 2019. Have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Be able to meet Trigg County Hospital job-related requirements. Submit two letters of recommendation from academic faculty. Submit a skills performance evaluation of skills that have been successfully completed while in the nursing program. A letter explaining why you chose nursing as a profession. Be able to work 24-36 hours per month.

Trigg County Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility located near beautiful Lake Barkley and scenic Land Between the Lakes. The hospital opened its doors to the citizens and visitors of Trigg County and the surrounding area on April 22nd, 1952. That day, Former Kentucky Governor, Lawrence Wetherby, made a statement which still very much describes Trigg County Hospital to this day: "There are larger hospitals in the world, but none more efficient or beautiful."
